Contract templates

To achieve faster and more consistent handling of contracts, there is the option to create contract templates.

How can I create a new contract template?

1. Click on “+ New Template”

Global settings - contract template - New template.png

2. Enter a name for the contract template

3. There are two options: Contract templates can be customized individually or set as a default. If something is changed in a template under the “Default” option, the change applies to all linked contracts (e.g., minimum wage adjustment). Conversely, a “Default” setting cannot be changed in an individual contract; this can only be done centrally. If a field is marked as “Individual,” changes must be made separately for each contract.

What are standard rates and what impact do they have on contract templates?

Standard rates are defaults applied in the contract template for all employees.

Example:

All employees receive a surcharge of 20% from 8:00 PM onwards –> standard rate

The employee Joey Bansen receives a surcharge of 30% from 7:00 PM onwards –> individual

Collective Framework Agreement of the Federal Association for System Catering

What is a collective framework agreement?

A collective framework agreement contains regulations on the general conditions of employment relationships in a specific industry, for example regarding working hours, vacation entitlement, or notice periods. Unlike the more familiar wage and salary agreements, collective framework agreements are designed for the long term.

The collective framework agreement of the BdS (Federal Association of System Catering) applies within the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany to the businesses and companies of system catering that are full members of the BdS. It regulates the working conditions of all employees, including trainees, who belong to the NGG union and are employed in the member businesses and companies of the BdS.

Display overtime separately

Displaying separately means that the hours worked according to the contract are shown as “normal working time” and all additional hours are shown as “overtime.” This is especially important for restaurant managers who do not receive Zuschläge on their hours but for payroll it is still relevant how many hours were worked as overtime.
