Newsletter dated 05.08.2024
In our first newsletter, we would like to start with an important change as well as a new feature in Nesto:
Switch to Industrial Minutes
Until now, working hours in Nesto have been displayed in so-called normal time (e.g., 8:30 hours). This has occasionally caused confusion, especially during the month-end closing and also in employee printouts of working hours. To avoid this in the future and to ensure a uniform standard with payroll accounting according to DATEV, we will adjust the display of working hours to industrial minutes as of 07.08. For example, 8:30 hours will then be shown as 8.5 hours. This simplifies the calculation of total hours and ensures a consistent presentation of working hours.
This adjustment will be noticeable especially on the following pages/exports:

Shift Plan as Monthly Printout
From now on, it is also possible to print the entire released monthly shift plan as a PDF file. To do this, you can use the print function in the monthly planner at the top right and now select the "Monthly Overview" as the print option. This will create a PDF of the monthly shift plan for the currently opened month, which you can then print:

In the monthly overview, it is clearly shown on which days your employees have to work, as well as various types of paid absences such as sick leave, vacation, and training days, but also unpaid absences like rest days. In the last columns, the planned and contractual hours for the respective month are also listed for each employee.
