Dear customers,
The new year has begun – and we are starting right away with exciting updates and improvements for Nesto!
In this newsletter, we present to you the latest features and adjustments.
Whether optimized time tracking, more flexible changes to the duty roster, or more precise evaluations – we have prepared some highlights for you.
Let’s start a successful year together!
Best regards,
Your Nesto Team
User Identification for Changes in Time Tracking
From now on, the name of the user who made the last change to the recorded working times (EAZ) will be displayed.
This feature allows you to easily trace changes and improve the integrity of time tracking.
Labor Costs Including Additional Costs in Result Evaluation
The result evaluation now shows labor costs including additional costs instead of just the pure labor costs (excluding additional costs) as before. This adjustment ensures a more consistent presentation since these data were already available in other parts of Nesto.
More precise figures: All currency fields in the result evaluation now contain 2 decimal places for more accurate calculations. Previously, amounts were displayed rounded.
Button Redesign: Creating Manual Shifts in the Monthly Planner
A new, clear button design makes it easier for you to create manual shifts.
Adding days off: You can now add days off directly in the overview row of the respective employee.
Outlook: Soon, a complete and transparent validation of conflicts will be introduced. This way, you keep an overview and avoid double or incorrect scheduling.
Print Current Planning Status of the Duty Roster
When printing your duty roster, you now have a new option:
Choose between the currently planned status and the released duty roster (as before).
This feature offers you more flexibility, especially if you want to document or review intermediate statuses.

New Time Tracking App: Photo Function When Clocking In and Out
Security and traceability: With the new photo function, a photo of the employee is taken when clocking in and out.
A simple guide (https://help-portal.nesto-software.de/help-portal/installation-der-nesto-zeiterfassungs-app-version-#InstallationderZeiterfassungs-App-FotobeimEin-undAusstempelnaktivieren(iPad)) shows you how to activate the camera and use the function optimally.

Day-by-Day Period Selection in Payroll and Employee Overview
You can now select smaller periods within a month.
This feature helps you analyze specific days or shorter periods specifically in payroll or in the employee overview.
Ideal for detailed reports or short-term adjustments.
