Qualifications & Qualification Levels

Qualifications

In this view, the qualifications of employees can be maintained. The qualifications correspond to the positions created in the local settings and indicate at which positions employees can be assigned.

At least the main qualification should be specified here. The more additional qualifications are stored for employees, the more flexible the planning can be.

Limiting Qualifications

Qualifications can be limited in time to represent, for example, prerequisites for qualifications that are only valid for a limited period. Before a qualification can be time-limited in the master data, it must be activated per position in the position settings.

Qualification Levels

The qualification levels in the job relate to the degree of skills, knowledge, and experience a person has regarding their professional tasks and responsibilities. Qualifications are an important criterion for the automatic shift planning. The levels can vary depending on the position; for shift planning, we classify them as follows:

  1. Not specified → no information

  2. New - selected for training → the first days in the company or at the new position

  3. In training → the qualification is being trained

  4. Beginner → little to no professional experience, basic knowledge and fundamental skills

  5. Advanced → intermediate to advanced level of experience, deep specialist knowledge and extended skills

  6. Professional → extensive professional experience, profound specialist knowledge and outstanding skills
