The various attributes of the employees are grouped using tabs. The pencil icon allows editing the fields in the individual tabs and sections. After completing the changes, saving is necessary. For all employees, the following information can be maintained:

  • The tab General contains all essential attributes for identifying the employees. This includes, for example, name, address, contact details, and the personnel number.

  • Through the tab Contract Data, details about the employment contract can be recorded. This especially includes the type of contract type, weekly working hours, granted surcharges, and contractually agreed availabilities. The contract data is used by Nesto to plan shifts or to calculate the costs of a planned day. If time tracking is additionally used, the information also serves to calculate the actual wages.

  • Furthermore, the Availabilities for the employees can be recorded individually. These include, besides contractually agreed availabilities, also preferred times reflecting the individual wishes of the employees. This information is taken into account during staff scheduling.

  • With the tab Qualifications, skills can be mapped in Nesto. Specifically, it can be determined for all employees at which positions (e.g., service, kitchen, bar) they can be deployed.

  • In the tab Working Hours, the working hours maintained in the system for the employees can be displayed.

  • The tab Working Time Account provides insight into the currently active working time account of the employees; it updates monthly.

  • Through the Absences, vacation and sick leave days of the employees can be recorded. The entered times are appropriately considered by Nesto in staff scheduling.

  • Under Documents, files such as the signed employment contract, instructions, or pay slips can be stored. Upon request, individual categories can also be made available to employees via the employee app.

  • With the Special Payments, one-time payments such as bonuses can be recorded.

  • Under the tab System Access, an account can be created for the employees and the desired permissions granted. A valid email address, which must be stored in the master data, is required for this. By activating system access, the employee receives an email with information on how to activate the account. Each account can be assigned individual access rights.

  • With Notes, additional information can be recorded and documented.

  • Under Delete, employees can be deleted or deactivated.
